All career politicians are corrupted? True or False?

To be in the game long enough to get to national level races or positions like Governor you have to had made deals to people or the party to get funding. None of these people aren't bought and paid for to some extent. Yes I'm talking about both sides.

I'm not sure I'd say corrupted, although it's true for most. But you can't be a career politician without making undesirable compromises and backroom deals. It's impossible.
I do think there are occasionally good-intentioned career pols who retain those intentions and try to minimize the impact of "politics" on their service, but not many. You get desensitized to it and focused on retaining power and influence.
