Daniel Carlson - NFL Record Watch

As bad as the Raiders have been, Daniel Carlson is closing in on the NFL record for consecutive FGs made.
The current record is held by Adam Vinatieri at 44 from 2015-2016. Carlson is now at 40 straight, dating back to last season.
Vikings must be proud.

His brother is still there after both seemed to play for 8 years each

too bad his brother fricking sucks he's their kicker right now and people thought he'd be as good as his brother. However, he has been pretty awful and getting worse each year.
I believe he's had some injuries but he's nowhere near as good as his older brother. 5th yeah senior and he's 12-17 this year. What's funny is he was pretty bad as a freshman and sophomore. Which can be a bit expected.. then was incredible as a junior going 20-22. Then the past two years he's been 14-21 and 12-17 respectively. Not great

What are the distances though? FGA / FGM is misleading

Hi brother struggled last year, but also tried to take a ton of long field goals IIRC. This year, he is coming off of a torn ACL in his plant leg. It was going to be a tough year for him anyways this year. There have been times you can tell his timing is just completely off.

Y’all have the younger McPherson as well, I’d want to see him kick.

The most surprising thing about this post is that Justin Tucker does not own the record or the current longest streak, feels like he never misses

If memory serves he has a lot of 45+ yarders in this stretch

No it’s not. It leads you to believe how many he made vs how many he attempted

Out of 40 kicks, 18 have been from 40+ yds.
40-49, 10-10
50+, 8-8 (long of 56)

Way to leave off my question about distances.
It matters if he's automatic from <50 but struggles 50+ and he's attempted a bunch of 50 yarders.

Got robbed of the Groza twice, given to seniors basically as career achievement awards over Carlson who had the best season, only for the Groza to reverse course on him his senior year when he had a slightly less better year than his previous two
