I remember one within the past 15 years I want to say it was MSU where the police even brought the “tactical” vehicle around to the southeast corner after the game but no one actually broke anything

We threw some stuff from a certain frat house that is no longer affiliated with LSU - mainly cups of beer at the University of Washington bus in '82. The looks from the players still makes me chuckle.

Anyone remember the giant nose and the lines of coke in front of the DKE house for the Tenn game?
I think it was a jab at Reggie Cobb?

I had a bunch of college kids in a mini van at Florida in 08. They hurled beer bottles at us.

Yes. Was IN the bus every time Lafayette High visited Franklin; we knew to put our helmets on in case one made it through.

Two different times in high school we had the bus rocked and shite thrown at us.

I drive for some of the d-1 schools on the east coast. VA Tech, ODU, teams like that.
The worst I've seen is half the peace sign, and I don't mean we're #1. Of course cussing at the players, though you can't hear much with the windows closed. Of course they don't take football as seriously as the SEC does.

Was there and witnessed the bus rock. That stadium was electric.

Florida 07 watched a bunch of folks rock the bus sitting outside the East side of the stadium.

Sounds like fun
Nah - please don't throw anything at opposing players, fans, coaches or busses. You aren't three years old anymore, and who the frick raised you anyway? LSU is better than that. Dont do it

First game in Tiger Stadium (first two games were moved) after Hurricane Katrina, and Fulmer tried to get the game moved due to Hurricane Rita.
Yes! I was there for that game and saw the beer bottle thrown at the bus. The only problem is that it wasn't the team bus, it was player parents who made the trip...bad look for the Tigers all around

Weren’t there beer bottles and rocks?

It’s happened a few times. Always harmless. I remember late 80’s - early 90’s where groups would party outside the Marriott all night. Heard people would randomly knock on doors and throw pebbles at windows. That was funny when I was young but sounds crappy now.
Shortly after that, the cell phone capturing and calling started.

I remember during the Dinardo
1996 against Vandy when they wouldn’t let the Tigers wear white jerseys. The Vanderbilt buses came to a stop on the street by the tiger cage and I can still see my friend launch a huge gin & tonic in a cup at the bus. The cup hit the window where a player was sitting and sprayed the side of the bus. People were pissed.

I helped rock one WAY back in the day. And piss balloons…

LOL Yep. Alburn '01 Tuberville got off the bus and pantomimed like he was smoking a cigar. People went ballistic, foaming at the mouth cussing him. There were no barricades or anything just some cops there to keep people away from him. It was nuts and awesome.
And we got his arse for it!
