Jetho Tull is one of the most underappreciated bands of all kinds and Ian Anderson one of the most talented front man ever to lead a band. Your thoughts...?

They were overrated when I was in college and are now forgotten and underrated. Great band.

Listened to a lot of their stuff. Not my idea of good music but to each his own

Martin Barre (sp?) certainly is an underrated guitarist in my humble opinion

I never got Jethro Tull. Not my cup of tea.

I saw them on the "A" Tour Oct. 17th 1980 in Saginaw, Michigan. Alvin Lee and 10 Years After was the warm up.
Outstanding evening.
Ian Anderson is also a connoisseur grower of chili's. I've read his stuff about this.
A very unique and interesting individual.

Check out Songs from the Wood. It’s an excellent album that not a lot of people seem to know about. I think it has sort of an Olde English or Robin Hoodish quality about it. I’m not sure how else to describe it.
I’ve seen them in concert once. It was a great show.
A friend of mine had the 20 Years of Jethro Tull box set. It’s excellent. I have the condensed single disc version. It’s good too. It has a great old cover of Stormy Monday.

Songs from the Wood is great, but Heavy Horses is their better deep cut album in my opinion. Totally different vibe, though, as they had moved more prog at that point.

No doubt
...and still being snubbed by the R & R HOF.
Benefit is tight.

Saw Jethro Tull at the Saenger Theater in NOLA in the 90's and when they came out for the encore the played the first line of one of their biggest hits (can't remember which one) and then ran off the stage. I wanted to strangle those mother f'ers!

One of my favorite groups. Much like Steely Dan, they had a unique and original sound that has never really been duplicated. Anderson was a really talented front man.

This is my father favorite band, so I’ve grown up listening to them.
Love me some Jethro Tull.
We met Ian Anderson once. Asked him to sign the greatest hits CD we ran and got from our car.
He asked if he could get information from the CD jacket because he didn’t remember ever authorizing this particular greatest hits CD but he did sign it LOL
