I don’t know he’s your friend.

I used Chip Bankston at BROC. Full rotator cuff rebuild and works great.

Dr Nick Hatzis at BROC

I second C. Bankston with BROC

Chip Bankston did mine. Supposed to be the best. His father is the LSU team Dr. It was a full year of pain, but as good as new after the pt.

Dr Hatzis BROC did both of mine, no complaints

Yes. All he does is shoulders.

Fields handled pain management and treatment after my initial rebuild in 2002. Fields recommended Hatzis for the replacement in 2020. Both were outstanding. Looks like regardless of MD, BROC seems to be the consensus.

How much pain did y’all need to suffer before you decided to opt for surgery?
50% tear. Hurts in certain positions but not continuous round the clock pain. PT didn’t do anything for it.

Hatzis
Fields
Bankston
Burnham
Mazoch
Waggenspack
all are great, depends on what is the issue and what needs to be done

(Albert) Brent Bankston isn’t his dad. I think they are cousins

Fields has done two rotator cuff repairs. His work is orthoscopic.
I had a shoulder replaced -- first saw Fields, and was told it couldn't be repaired. He sent me to Hatzis for replacement (open cut).
ADVICE: Insist on physical therapy after surgery. All those guys want you to use Therabands at home. Physical therapists at BROC are good, band you'll get better results using them. All the shoulder docs at BROC will refer you to a PT if you ask.
