There are rumors that he already met with Nebraska AD Trev Alberts and now he's being mentioned as a possibility for Auburn as well. Will he be back in Oxford or will he jump ship again?

Lane Kiffin will do what gives Lane Kiffin the most exposure.

He is Dollar Tree Jim Harbaugh.

Ole Miss is a better job and easier to recruit than Nebraska.

Nebraska is dead. And it ain’t coming back.

The only thing Nebraska has over Ole Miss (aside from $$$) is an easier schedule.

Their program is so dead, tho

He know he can only do so much at Ole Miss. Their ceiling is lower than a team like Auburn. Winning 10 games in back to back years at Ole Miss has never been done before, I don’t think, and it wouldn’t get him higher than 2nd in the SEC West. Their facilities aren’t great and he’s already voiced frustration with the lack of attendance at certain games.

Nebraska? I’m not sure about that. That would be a risky move. I can’t see him there. That seems like a Matt Rhule job.

Lane Kiffin has wanted the Auburn job before and I think he would take it if Auburn made a move towards it.

His agent is Jimmy Sexton so I’m sure he’s “spoken” to everyone in the country and 5 NFL teams

Lane being in the same state as Saban, annoying the shite out of him on a daily basis, would be amazing.

Lane Kiffin is a mercenary though. He'll go where the money is. He has the belief that he can make any program work.

Lane would be crazy to leave Ole Miss. Ever.

I don't think he would ever be a "victim of his own success" in Oxford. Short of a Hugh Freeze type scandal, Ole Miss' administration and fan base will be happy averaging 8 wins a year, pulling a big upset every now and then, and threatening to make it to Atlanta every once in a while. Hell, besides the fact that WAOM, there's really no reason they can't catch lightning in a bottle and make it to Atlanta one of these years. It could be this year if they beat Alabama in Oxford on Nov. 12.

Lol he’s been at OM for 3 seasons.

LSU can re-tool a roster with 38 scholarship players in 6months and still beat you even when you are doing everything right.

IF Auburn hires Lane Kiffin after everything that's happened they deserve the instability. They need to get Freeze instead

That's not really what I'm getting at.

It's just a good fit. Lane can leave and take the Auburn job or some other bigger job and he'd get canned after 3-4 years and never find another Ole Miss.

He would be dumb to leave Ole Miss he’s got the program rolling and it’s far better job than Nebraska and less pressure than Auburn.

I think OU should have hired Kiffin. Going into the SEC they need some of that old school Barry Switzer type swagger. He would have also been the one to easiest continue the Riley style. BV was a lazy hire to keep Stoops really pulling the strings.
