Had to go into wal-mart to buy some socks. Strolling by the Men's clothing section, I noticed an entire section for SuperHero/Marvel/Star Wars type clothes for grown men. Not just one rack, but multiple racks and displays. All stuff that looks like it should be in the kids/boys section.

Is there really that big of a market for grown arse men to be buying little boys super hero clothes and not being embarrassed to wear it in public?

Adults have Halloween parties and dress up for them. Has nobody ever invited you to a party before?

The left is a bunch of man children who play games in their basement and post on Reddit.

There was a thread the other day about none of them getting laid

Men stopped learning to grow up in the early 2000's

I say this as a fairly immature 43 year old.

There’s always been a market for nostalgia.

I get where you are coming from, I really do…but is it really that different from wearing merch from any other franchise? Sports team, political affiliation, show/hobby you like?

This is a little like people playing fantasy football ripping on people playing D&D.

It’s all nerddom of one stripe or another.

I’m sure you aren’t guiltless yourself

Question: does what other people choose to wear affect you in any way?

If you’re a mom/dad who has a kid who loves Hulk, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc, it’s fun for them to see you wearing what they think is awesome. Personally I prefer to usually just wear around the house. Lots of parents reach a point where they just don’t care to be out in public with it on. They can definitely be worn without being a total weirdo

Congratulations on waking up from that 15-year coma. Your legs must be horribly atrophied. To answer your question, yes, grown arse folks are wearing comic book clothes all the time and slapping Star Wars-themed bumper stickers on their vehicles. In related news, everything else is going to shite, too.

The funny thing about this thread is that name “Burger Bearcat” sounds like a third tier superhero

This reminds me of the grown men who go see every Marvel movie, and not with their kids.
