Game slowing down for him, trusting his WR'S, and realizing that he has some bad mf'ers that will make plays for him if he just lets it fly.

No. No he's not.

He played well tonight, but one good game doesn't make him a top tier QB. Let's see if he can repeat the performance going forward, or if this just a freak occurrence. Don't forget that Florida's defense is one of the worst in the SEC this year.

I notice it too, but he wasn’t calling plays. He was just reading what was being called.

JD completing longer passes allows the playbook to open up a bit more.

I think a big part is the coaches finally convinced him to just start slinging it.

He had noticeable fear until tonight. Hopefully the mindset sticks. Scared money don’t make money.

He played on an elite level tonight. That can’t be denied. On the road and really didn’t make an error. I can’t imagine that anyone could deny he was the best player in the game.

Maybe a bit of both?

It was both, but Daniels was the starting point. The play calling is so limited when he isn’t confident and won’t pull the trigger. Tonight the staff opened up the play calling more as Daniels showed he could handle it and spread the defense out. It was a virtuous circle that we need to keep going on offense.

I’ve been a big critic of Daniels for the most part and had given up on him. Happy to be wrong tonight and I hope he can keep it up, because we can win any game we have left if he plays like this.

I don't think Denbrock changed much.
I'm pretty sure the OC decided they would have to turn JD loose to win and they practiced like it. QB and WRs never been on the same page until this week.

When he’s on point, he’s up there with Young and Hooker. Definitely a top 3 SEC QB.

Not even close. Anthony Richardson threw for 453 yards in a game earlier this year. He’s still awful.

No way the whole passing game changes that dramatic without practicing a more wide open attack this week.

I made a post after Auburn that I thought the offense was still very much working towards adding to the playbook. Denbrock’s O at Cincinnati was incredibly multiple and you see them add a little more week to week here at LSU. Tennessee got ahead so quick last week I think you couldn’t be as multiple.

He wasnt just hitting opening receivers, he was anticipating them like the sideline trow to Lacy on 3rd down when the ball was thrown even before Lacy turned around

The OL played their best game of the year, as I recall....one sack? Few / any OL penalties? And Daniels had time to go down field. By far its best game.

Exactly.

Why wasn’t that happening before?

Of course, the doubters were quick to jump on him after one bad game.

No one on this site knows the answer to this.none of us have any idea if the playcalling was different. Anyone on here claiming different is talking out of their arse
