YPA..

TENN - 6.66 YPA
FL - 10.9 YPA

that's the difference you see on the scoreboard. And what everyone has been waiting on.

Yes, first time I've seen CBK with a play sheet.

Undoubtedly, CBK reads the Rant. He fears the Rant.

Like everyone else, I’m very encouraged by what we saw regarding pla y calling and execution. Now let’s see what happens these next two games against teams that are at the top of the SEC.

There were 3-4 throws he doesn’t attempt in earlier games…he fitted the ball in a very tight window to Boutte and the TD in the corner of the end zone was just a 1on1 see if my guy can go get it.
I think the play calling looked better because everything was working and since Daniels was willing to spread the field, we were able to run more effectively.
The O line was stellar as well..

If he comes out slinging against Ole Miss like he did against Florida it’s going to a very fun rest of the season. Cautiously optimistic.

This was the 1st time I noticed BK with a play chart but I think these were the same plays we've been running. I think BK may have had more input as to when certain plays were called. Denbrock has been calling pretty decent games but the players haven't executed as well.

From what I saw he did a solid job of placing the ball and receivers were allowed to grab it. Not necessarily throwing it to an open guy but to open space where a receiver could get it.

That is a very subtle difference between what we have seen to date.

The play calling was night and day better, it seemed like a completely different coach calling it.

See, the way I see it, there’s no way in hell to even know what the play calls were before without watching an all- 22 type view. The ball would never come out at the time routes would have been ready. I have been extremely hard on Daniels for not being willing to throw with anticipation. He finally started doing that and this is what happened. No matter what place were called before you would not have seen anything that looked like this.

The man just scored 6 touchdowns in the Swamp. Whether that's a harbinger of things to come, or a freak occurrence, you should certainly be able to see your way clear of giving the man his due.

I wonder how many other LSU players have scored 6 touchdowns at Florida.

Totally agree Florida run defense is bad, saw that when they played Utah. The run game was also better because JD took shots downfield and connected. That loosened the defense up. Hopefully he keeps it up. Also, the line blocked well, amazing the difference Campbell makes.

The only other LSU player to throw for 3 and rush for 3 in a single game was Joey B.

When he’s on point, he’s up there with Young and Hooker. Definitely a top 3 SEC QB.

The same thing was said about TJ Finley after the South Carolina game in 2020. I do agree, on Saturday, Daniels looked a lot like Young and Hooker (and Finley from that one game). Lets get a little bigger sample size before we say he has proven anything.
