Does anyone still get an actual newspaper delivered?

There was a topic a few days ago on phone books (which I haven't seen for years) but that got me wondering - does anyone still get a newspaper physically delivered? I think there are three houses on my block that still receive them every morning.

I do.
I am about to walk outside and get it.

I know a couple of people who do.
They were born in the 1940s or earlier.

If I want to pay to be lied to, I'd go to a strip club.

If you’re in a New Orleans area, why in the hell would you ever want to read the garbage that is printed in the New Orleans Advocate/Times Picyournose. You can just go to the DNC website and get the same censored and racist bullsh!t.

Only ones I don’t want…. The crappy Advocate I get free on Wednesday.

I do, I’ve never requested it or paid for it but it’s always there. I usually pick it up and put straight into the trash.

Wall Street journal but that’s a real newspaper

NY Times and NY Post everyday, Wall Street Journal is at work anyway so no need for that one. I won't read them cover to cover but I definitely start with the NY Post Sports section which is terrific.
And their headlines!

I just canceled after the latest rate increase. Now I have to wait to see if they actually process the cancellation over at the Advocate. I was born in 1950

I’ve been living in my current home since 2006 in New Orleans and every f’ing day I get a paper in my yard. I have never in my life signed up or paid for a paper, but, every morning there the paper is. Guess the past owner signed up for some sort of lifetime paper delivery?!?

No.
The Sun Herald is garbage. Was decent before McClatchy took over.

I get the newspaper. I have been getting the digital of our local for years. The digital format is nice but the content sucks. I read a few articles but almost all are national. I do get like 200+ others automatically but they are the same paper pretty much.
High school sports, some college football content, and the NFL content are all I really ever look at consistently.

Funny story is I ordered the hard copy to be delivered because one of my kids is taking a journalism class. First time they had to bring in an article the teacher told them that it was not excepted and that they needed to print out a digital version. Once the 8 weeks are up that will not happen again.

It was cheaper to get the WSJ delivered + online than just online with a education account when I signed up
I havent even had access to the email the account is tied to for years now but still get the cheap price
