Flatulence. Monroe was notorious for constantly playing bombs over Tokyo.

That or depictions of rotting food. She'd stash half eaten meals under bed sheets in case she wanted to eat them later, forget about them, and the maids would find them days later.

Director kind of sounds like a creep like the guy who runs Euphoria. But she is hot as f@ck so I will definitely catch the highlights of this one

I think it was originally NC-17 because there is a limit of how many f-bombs you can include, and they originally went over.

According to Trey and Matt, every time the censors would come back with a cut, they'd put in something they thought was worse and it would get approved.

Don't you dare leave Alexandra Daddario out of that sentence.

Perhaps there's an unofficial rule of f-bombs-per-minute.

For the theatrical cut of SP: BLU, the total number of f-bombs is 146. But in 1995, Casino had 422 f-bombs. That's a difference of nearly 300. Even if we assume they had to cut a lot out to appease the censors, that's quite a lot to cut out. The movie dialogue would probably be nearly incoherent with that many f-bombs.

On the other hand, if it were f-bombs/minute, it would make more sense. South Park: BLU is 81 minutes, but Casino is 178 minutes.

As that stands, it is

South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut - 1.80 fricks per minute.

Casino - 2.37 fricks per minute.

So, you can see that just by adding 50 more fricks, SP: BLU's frick-per-minute rate would increase to beyond Casino's frick-per-minute peak.

Sorry to be so analytical about the word "frick."

Truth be told, the MPAA is very inconsistent with how it confers its ratings onto film. The documentary "This Film Is Not Yet Rated" did a very good job of explaining how some of the shite they do makes very little sense.

I may have made a joke about this once before, I can't honestly remember. If that is talking about it all the time, mea culpa.

I don't care enough to go through my post history looking for insults directed to Marilyn Monroe (whether jokingly or not) but knock yourself out. Go forth and find some to repost and prove my evil ways. I'll even come back and rate them myself if I remember to. Which isn't very likely but I check the Movie/TV board two or three times a week so it could happen.

You have your quest! Go forth and prove my villainous ways!

Well there you go.

You don't get NC-17 for just boob and poonani shots.

True Romance almost got an X-rating for James Gandolfini beating the crap out of a woman and making her a bloody mess.

How in the hell does Irreversible with Monica Bellucci not have an NC-17 rating?
