I’ve said it here before, but I am so glad I got out of that trashy town when I did.

Isn’t Zachary pretty good in terms of hood shite? It always used to be at least. Has it gotten worse?

It’s gotten worse, saw the writing on the wall a few years ago. The elementary are schools are still pretty good from what I hear. I know several people who are still there and they’ve either started or will start sending their kids to private school once they hit middle school age.

Cooler weather must've landed in Zachary already.

Still too hot for coats down here in Prairieville.

Baker was a good place to live in the 80s but NBR spread up there. Now Baker/NBR is moving up to Zachary.

Exactly, Zachary at one point had excellent schools and for that reason they got flooded with people wanting their kids there. You see this all over, people just keep moving farther out. Zachary people moving to St Francisville.

Two high school kids got in a fistfight at a football game? That would never happen back in my day.

I’m guessing the high school is no longer an “A” one?

They had some mayor and principal drama if I recall…or city council?

I worked in Zachary about 10 years ago, we went and looked at houses and saw all the ghetto oozing from $250k+ houses and decided the commute was fine. It was really shocking just how bad it was. The realtor said money was really easy to get for a certain part of the population...

I’ll take that in exchange for championshipS

I saw a similar group leaving our jamboree and walking through a neighborhood that had a fight in what was probably not any of their yards… they had enough discipline to A. Not go after me, and B. To tell themselves to break it up after a minute or two
