No one was offended by this other than, weirdly, people from outside Louisiana. Literally no one cared other than sports talking heads. And it’s the only thing they talk about when BK comes up.

When CBK wins it all hopefully he pays them back in a post-game interview by throwing it in their face during that interview or demanding they ask questions with their own fake accent in said interview.
Unfortunately he won't be able to refuse it in that scenario due to conference rules regarding such with the TV contracts, mainly SEC rules/contract. But he'll have the opportunity to give it back in spades one day.

It’s an old worn out joke, that they won’t stop because they want to keep BK as a joke. It kind of obvious what they are doing and it is sad. Dude said 1 word weird and they have legit blown it up way out of proportion.
