I could apply that stance to nearly every thing you like to do.
Maybe should word that better.

Don’t forget to ban alcohol as well, Mussolini

Ask the left. They made it acceptable.
Let’s be honest, Trump is obese

Yeah, everyone has risky behaviors.
I can think of some particularly risky ones where we could outlaw whole swaths of people if we went down that road

This is what I needed on my Friday morning. Work is gonna fly by in this thread, especially if mingo and 777 show up.
its friday, i have given up hope lol. plus im what i consider 15 lbs over weight anyways right now
i aint gonna get on the ones 30lbs overweight too hard, but they are still fat, just like i am right now
quote:
This is an actual fact.
The average American believes their weight is appropriate because there are individuals who are significantly fatter.
All Scruffy is waiting for are the posts rejecting the concept of BMI because of NFL athletes.
i think its funnies when people say they would be a skelton at a certain weight and then talk about how good they looked in high school and college when at said weight
or wait....the best ones are like you said the BMI nuts who believe because they lifted weights in HS 25 years ago, suddenly they have too much muscle for BMI to count for them, but everyone else is fat

Good lord. We can't even have an old fashioned "fatty" thread without it turning political.

I blame travel ball for the obesity epidemic.
1) OT.....kids are too fat, they need more exercise
2) kid joins travel ball team to play sport, practice 2-3x weekly and play on weekends.....OT...NO NOT THAT KIND OF EXERCISE!!! TRAVEL BALL IS THE WORST!!!
Never change OT, Never change

America is grotesquely fat. The average American woman is now larger than the average American male was in the 1960s.
Posted on 8/19/22 at 8:33 am to lsu777
That was a joke, 777.
But, travel ball failed that kid in the earlier post.
It should be blamed.

Yeah those posters lift a couple times a week, do zero cardio, and think that BMI doesn't apply to them

Hmm lot of parts to this.
In order to treat it like smoking you would have to follow the same process.
First section off restaurants where you can only sit in one section if you are eating unhealthy food.
Then you have to ban all unhealthy eating on television and advertisement.
Eventually ban all unhealthy eating in restaurants all together. Hey I know you were craving that Fried seafood platter but we have an obesity epidemic tough shite.
Than tax the shite out of unhealthy food making it more and more expensive to buy.
Constantly run opposing adds to children about how eating unhealthy is nasty.
Now we need to force health insurance to start paying for preventative measures. Cover gym memberships, Weight loss drugs and research, Obesity surgeries. Most won't cover that currently.
Here is the thing. All of that costs money and we are in a money over everything society so it would never fly. It would also cripple a lot of powerful people who made their fortune on selling unhealthy food to the public for years. Personal responsibly yada yada I know. But next time you drive down the interstate. Count how many fast food billboards you see as opposed to billboards to eat a salad or fruit. "Hey you fat bastard you should eat the stuff that doesn't taste as good while we we allow companies to bombard you with advertisements for the bad stuff in the name of profit. It's your fault you are fat anyway."

How are you going to to eat McDonald’s if you can’t sit in the chair?

Yes.
And since I am so dumb and confused, could you explain to me why you decided to post about how people are afraid of freedom in a thread in which no one was talking about banning anything?
TIA

As Scruffy said, “impact” is far too vague. Practically everything you do impacts someone, somewhere.
With that said, I’ll spare everyone my libertarian Non-Aggression Principle spiel, as it’s far too early on a Friday morning for that
