Any drills? Swing thoughts?

I’m trying to waggle and reduce tension.

Without seeing your swing it's difficult to tell. Off the top I would suggest getting more rotation in your shoulders and hips.

Deadlifts, lunges, squats, slams, mobility

I'll even program for you

Honestly, the best way is to get more fit and mobile. It takes time.

Check out par 4 success website as they have an online mobility test to see your baseline. They have programs to increase your mobility and strength safely.

I increased my swing speed by 5-6 mph in 10 weeks.

Torque your right knee pre swing. Your right side isn’t going anywhere.

After a while you can probably quit doing it. It’s how it got rid of the sway

I find the smoother I swing, the more club head speed I can generate.

Agree with this. Watch the LPGA players swing or someone like Fred Couples, very smooth and they can hit it pretty far. Accuracy probably will increase if you have a smoother swing.

The ones that carry their driver like 230? He asked how to get faster.

Maybe you should do some research before you post.

He’s definitely smooth, but he isn’t swinging slow at all.

He’s not wrong. Middle of the pack would be around 250 total. That’s 230ish carry.

He wouldn't do that.

"The Angry One" knows all and sees all.

He doesn't need to do any research.

2019 data:

Some of the most notable averages on the PGA Tour include a 275-yard carry distance and 167 mph ball speed with the driver, and an average attack angle of -1.3 degrees resulting in a launch angle of 10.9 degrees.

On the LPGA Tour, the driver averages sit at a 218-yard carry and 140 mph ball speed, resulting in a +3 degrees attack angle and a launch angle of 13.2 degrees.

There is a new thing about constant movement. But, I tried it at the range and you can get your swing speed up. But it is very inconsistent with accuracy. Their is a sway involved. I could probably do it after a lot of practice. Just not worth the few extra yards in my game.

Contact JP Guidry with Guidry Golf and Sports. He’s got a great program that will help you build mobility, speed and strength. Ultimately will increase your swing speed a fair amount from your baseline.

Either get more backswing or pull down harder from top. Easiest ways with not much change.

Get a 20lb medicine ball and swing it to top of backswing then throw it down. Do 20-30 a day and u will gain 10 yards in a week easily.
