At least some of the kids are playing, although they may be sent down after tonight the way the Yankees handle position player rookies

Hicks can't see the field again this season. They aren't serious about turning it around and winning if he does.

quote:

Aaron Hicks has a -2.91 WPA (Win Probability Added) this season. That’s the worst from any position player in the majors this season. That’s awful.

He is quite literally the worst player in baseball.

Also, Jordan Montgomery is a quality start machine. Awful trade. frick Cashman.

I am crossing any chance of Beasley being the manager after that decision to put in Sborz after King got two outs.

I mean my god man.

13th consecutive outing allowing a runner sheesh.

Then the free stolen base.

Here we go.

Lol Cardinals fan... cute.

Please explain to me how the Mets or Braves should rather play the Phillies in a wild card series than whoever wins the Central in the NLDS.

Congrats on finally clearing the third wild card spot with your record I guess.

Very hot take. On point as always.

Aaron Hicks, what the hell? It's ok, Judge is gonna walk it off anyway.

Yankees walk it off with a Grand Slam - that is their 13th walk-off win which leads the majors. They have also lost nine (I think), which also leads the majors. Yankees needed this win, especially against the weakest pitching lineup of this series. Rays did not want Adams going tonight, so they use Penoche (Poche), and Beeks. Yikes.

Did anyone see the Dodgers reporter go down the slide at the Brewers park?

Broke his wrist and several ribs.

I'm terrified that somebody will hire Chris Holt in the near future.

What he's done with the Os major league pitching as well as the entire organization (was promoted to director of pitching for the organization a couple years ago) is incredible.

Elias has been incredible rebuilding the talent, but Holt has been a major key in fixing the Os 40 year achilles heel.

That's why I noted "near future" as in 3-5 years.
