Red Sox lefty James Paxton began a rehab assignment today but left after facing just two batters. This was initially reported to be lat tightness by Chris Cotillo of MassLive, with manager Alex Cora later telling Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe that Paxton has a lat strain.

Berrios is going for Toronto. Judge should get multiple bases tonight, if not multiple homers.

I hope he doesn't break down like Griffey did at the same age.

Judge is pressing. Not sure he'll even get to 55 homers.

Who would you watch Pujols or Judge when one is trying to get to 700 HRs and the other to get to 70 HRs?

Save some of those beers for me. I have Cubs-Brewers under 10.5 runs, so of course the score at the end of one inning is 3-2

Mikolas and Wainwright have pitched much better than their record indicates.

Marlins catcher decides to go back up first base on a hit to the third baseman with a man on third. Dodgers up 2-1

All of a sudden, I'm way less nervous about the starting pitching heading down the stretch. "Mo'ron" picking up Quintana and Montgomery may have just done the trick. Flaherty is ramping up in rehab starts as well.

Line up is starting to gel and take pressure off the pitching staff.

Good times. Cardinals are no Philadelphia Phillies mind you...everyone in the NL East would tank to face the Cardinals instead of those Phillies.
