Good for Missouri! I have a funny feeling that the DOJ and the FBI are going to FAFO sometime soon.

But why are you so scared to wait 3 days to get yo gun??? If it saves just one life!!!!

This is why, motherfrickers. 1. We should not have to wait to exercise our constitutional rights, and 2. we should not be tracked and targeted by the Feds for it either.

If the FedGov blinks they're showing weakness and this will generate further pushback from other states

If the State blinks you'll see the FedGov overreach get even worse

If neither side blinks things will start getting much more interesting

Now that’s an AG. And those are state records. No Fed maintenance or access. They can legally withhold them citing state privacy laws.

The feds can threaten some kind of retaliation (freeze on background checks stopping gun sales or something like) but they can sue over that and have a damn good case.

The FBI in its letter to the sheriff’s department said an auditor would be visiting the Platte County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 10. The agency was “selected as a local Missouri agency reviewed for the access to the NICS,” the email said.

The Kansas City Star reported late last week that the FBI in a statement had informed the Star that the Missouri audit would inspect a sampling of system transactions to make sure there wasn’t any misuse of the agency’s Criminal Justice Information Services systems. The planned audit is a routine inspection of the systems, the statement said.

The Star reported that the FBI’s statement to the newspaper went on to say: “At no point would auditors require access to lists such as state approved concealed carry holders, nor would the CJIS Division retain information beyond what is necessary to address a specific compliance concern. Missouri has been through this routine audit multiple times, most recently in 2018.”

Holland’s July 14 reply to the FBI auditor sounds as if the sheriff’s department still anticipates a visit from the auditor on Aug. 10.

“Your email correctly listed the address of the sheriff’s office. There should be adequate parking in the front lot on Third Street or on the street in front of the sheriff’s office,” Holland concluded in his letter.

Schmitt is undoubtedly in contact with the Texit baws drawing up coordinated plans for simultaneous secession….who could blame MO for joining with TEXIT ….

I feel that defiant spirit of long ago welling up in MO once again….when all the Rebs gave up the fight the Bushwhackers continued their fight against the federal interlopers….

He was on FOX the other night & he said what really pissed him off was that he knew the FBI knew the law & was obviously trying to bully the local sheriffs behind the State's back.

I wonder if Missouri law allows CC w/o a Missouri permit. It would be funny as hell to see some FBI bitches arrested by MO sheriffs on a CC charge.
