1-0 loss

FODB but also FO all those batters just mailing it in. Pitchers keep showing up every day

Javier goes 6 with 1er, but our batters are more concerned with getting the early flight home and the day off than putting up 2 runs to win the game. Indians starting pitcher threw what, 80 or 85 pitches through EIGHT innings?

Rangers and Oakland up next. What do we think 1-5 or is that too optimistic against a pair of decidedly shitty teams. Certainly the Astros can't be bothered to muster up a frick.

Least surprising result of the season. First off day tomorrow since the All-Star break combined with an early start, and these guys were ready to go. Throw in sitting four regulars, and this was predictable.

I would hope they play better next week. They're actually 8-3 against the Rangers this year. If they have any pride, they'll want to atone for the recent embarrassment in Oakland.

This game was lost before it even started. Anytime all 4 of Myers, dubon, Chaz, and Aledmys are ion the lineup, it’s a lost cause.

Glad it was on Peacock and I didn’t waste my time trying to find an online stream.

I’ll be well rested for Tuesday.

This is the issue for me. They say all the right things publicly, but the evidence of their apathy in games like this is impossible to miss.

Keep in mind we just played 19 games in 18 days. The squad desperately needs tomorrows day off. After we scored 15 runs the first 2 games this series we were doomed

I'm glad I didn't subscribe to a month of Peacock to watch this clusterfrick.

Even in the minors leagues the former Astro thing exists. Former Astros farmhand Nick Tanielu is dragging his nuts all over Lance. Hitting .225 on the year but Lance can't get him out.

Mixed bag on Lance so far. He's at a point on the rehab starts now where you're starting to look for some results, rather than simply focusing on stuff. Tonight's line through 4

4IP 5H 4ER 2BB 4SO 2 doubles and a HR. 62 pitches 37 strikes 4 Groundouts 2 flyouts

ETA: he's back out for the 5th and gave up another HR and walk
