I’m aware. I was just saying that she’s good wife material. Based on the downvotes, I may have been misunderstood.

All joking aside, the Astros and Yankees may be fighting over the 2 spot

The Orioles can't be stopped.

I meant neither want the 1 spot as it relates to seeding in the playoffs

As it stands, the 2 seed is a more favorable draw

Oh.

Yeah, the WC 1 vs. WC 2 matchup will likely be two better teams than AL Central vs. WC 3.

Yeah I’m not sure home field against the Yankees cancels out how favorable the divisional matchup could be

I'd still want the 1-seed. You never know come playoff time and you might have a team get hot and win the Central or that Wild Card 3 playing better ball than WC 1 or 2.

With the ex-Astro curse against us…imagine what Correa would do against us in a series

Granted I’d rather him beat us than fricking Siri

Springer and the whole Toronto crew is a possibility as well. Our offspring are everywhere

If somehow Baltimore ends up in and we face them, 95% chance that Brett Phillips rips us a new one.

You could also lock in Cionel Perez for a few saves.

Yankees at home: 41-15

Yankees on road: 29-24

I don’t think there’s much relevance or correlation between Home/Road record in the regular season and how a team plays at either in the playoffs. Vastly different sample sizes and everything is matchup specific

The Astros went 60-21 at home in 2019 and went 0-4 at home in the World Series. The playoffs are such a small subset that sometimes the regular season doesn’t carry over. And sometimes it does. It’s about who gets hot and for how long.

The bats on this team should be ashamed for how they treated Javi the last month.

0-4 with a 3.52 era. Just disgusting behavior by the offense.

How many times did Javi draw a B squad getaway day lineup?

This throw away game bs has to stop, especially heading down the stretch. This team doesn't appear to have the leadership that past squads have had. They're too lackadaisical with these periods of f'ing off.
