It's a shame too. I used to love going to NOLA and listen to some music, walk the quarter, etc. Now you couldn't pay me to go. Just sad.

It’s gotten very bad, even by Nola standards which are already low.
The city can’t even keep traffic signals on. Every day, new intersections have signals out. And I’m not talking in the East (I don’t go there). I’m talking Poydras in the CBD.

Well no shite Carville, your beloved democrat party and their association with Marxist theology has destroyed New Orleans and countless other cities across America and yet he just can’t say that. Just look at the large cities across America that have been run by the democrat machine for the past 50 to 75 years and what do you see? All have the same issues and somehow that is not that parties fault. He deserves to have to live in the shithole he helped create.

The perception of NOLA by those outside the state is even worse. Locals know where to go and not go. Out-of-staters paint NOLA with a broad brush of crime and a violent cultcha.

The light at Poydras and Magazine has been blinking for almost an entire year now.
These are just like the most simple basic functions of any society or municipality of any size and locale for the past nearly 100 years that the people running this place can seemingly no longer figure out.
