kind of like it right now ...

All of the tourists have been scared away

The grocery store shelves are stocked

I can now buy shrimp as big as your fist again

Not elbow to elbow with people

Can get a seat in the restaurant rather fast

All you have to do is watch out for carjacking and bullets

There was someone shot maybe 10 blocks away the other day

But life goes on

Heck, just after we married thirty some years ago, we went to the Blue Room to hear Patty Page among other 'known' singers. It wasn't really that long ago. (Had electricity and air conditioning and working indoor plumbing.) (Then along came Katrina)

I love when liberals bitch about the environment they single-handedly created

Is that his professional opinion?

Were you to go back over his history in the public media, you'd see that he either backed every Mayor we've had here from Moon Landrieu to this present disaster with enthusiastic fervor, or he lent tacit approval to them.

He's done his own small part in helping this dystopia establish itself and develop.

... for about three years now I had been planing on buying hardy souls a beer at the Bayou Bar on Saint Charles Ave.
But then covid lock downs came and things became wars. In the meantime the Bayou Bar succumbed into the fray ... no longer the Bayou Bar.
So now the Bar has become the Jack Rose ... maybe when the dust settles I can still buy those hardy souls a beer ...

I still have faith in God and have hope for New Orleans. Because God saw their plan and he said

NO

there you go ...
and no dude from DC thinking he is Cajun is going to change that
