I actually don’t hate the theory but making something that big would be literally impossible. Plus it could mess with the ecosystem.

I’m open to all ideas including removing asphalt and replacing with something that reflects the heat more. These heat islands in the urban areas are huge problems. So much heat get absorbed into the asphalt, concrete, roofs, etc.

It says they would arrange the giant raft in space between the earth and suns gravity to keep it in a fixed position.
Hmmmm… I’m no scientist or astronaut, but I’m sure over the billions of years asteroids and such surely have past through that area. Why haven’t they gotten stuck in position?
