Sheesh you must have no dignity shilling with that garbage

Satan’s grip is tightening around the throat of society.

We are not talking about a miniscule fraction of the population in the academies. It is a movement that has been growing steadily since the 60s and until recently was ignored because it was thought the ideology wouldn't last in the real world. This has proven false.
The end goal of the ideology is to overturn all systems it deems oppressive which is pretty much all of them.

when the definitions of words are fluid and change with the winds of emotion, words lose their meaning and we lose the ability to communicate ideas effectively

Just wait, definition number 1 will disappear soon enough.

I’d argue that a time constant of change of hundreds of years doesn’t impact our ability to convey ideas effectively within a generation, but changing definitions of words suddenly and discontinuously, with political motivations, is bound to create a deep schism in our ability to foster a debate because we won’t be able to communicate our ideas clearly. I think this has already happened with words like “violence” and “racism” and it’s only getting worse.

Really? You think the first definition is garbage?
Boy, you people sure overreact when someone just points out a little hyperbole. Yes, our words' meanings often change - and often times even to the opposite of their original meaning.
Do I think the meaning of "girl" should include males? No, but it doesn't matter what I think, people are already doing it all over. Are they stupid? Maybe, Will it stick? Maybe.
I won't get excited until they change meaning 1 a (1), though.

Okay so what exactly does female
Mean now?
Mean now?

My response to you is basically identical to my last post, with respect to our ability to have debates across idealogical divides. The definitions of words shifting suddenly and not over decades of centuries, and with obvious political motivations and emotional impetus guiding it, has and will continue to have a profound effect on the ability of people to even converse when coming from different idealogical backgrounds.

More witches (Wiccans) in America than trans people.

You can’t change DNA. You’re either born male or female and will never change that. Any other beliefs regarding that are strictly mental illness and bullshite.

That's the entire point.

Can't change them chromosomes. You can call yourself whatever you want but at the end of the day you either a male or female. Whichever one God assigned to you.

Your example shows how words drifted over hundreds of years.
Not ten.
What's going on now is not natural language drift. This is targeted and deliberate. And to think otherwise is either because you're A) being obtuse B) a fricking moron or C) agree with those who are deliberately changing language for political purposes.
I'll let you "identify" as which of the above you are.

I just don't know what the endgame is, other than avoiding a discourse in favor of erasing certain perspectives from society.
But I've seen through the subtle manipulations of the word "violence" (i.e. "silence is violence", or "hate speech is violence") how people wield the emotional energy assigned to a word to rally up the masses for a cause. But it comes at the expense of words having clear and concise meaning, and ultimately at the expense of people being able to have coherent debates.
I just don't know where that story ends.

Also horseshite.
The above tells me you never opened a page of Locke, Rousseau, Bastiat, etc.

just let us remove one racist statue, that's it.
just let us visit our gay partners in the hospital, that's all we ask.
just let us get married like everyone else, that's all we're asking.
just let us creep into the dictionary and start bending the definition "girl", that's all we ask. Don't worry, that first 1 a (1) definitely won't change, I promise!
