You answered your own question. The Revolution can't begin until current societal norms, and all common points of reference, to include language and history, are destroyed.
Scratch a progressive, find a marxist.

The above tells me you never opened a page of Locke, Rousseau, Bastiat, etc.
News flash: You aren't always the smartest person in the room, and naming a few philosophers doesn't impress anyone.

You are claiming were reading Frédéric Bastiat in high school?
At least you're consistent with your completely made up horseshite takes.

Sudden changes in the meaning of "freedom", "liberty", and "self-determination" gave us the American Revolution.
I know this isn't correct based on my own readings, but I'll give you a chance to provide a link that supports this claim.
For what its worth, the Greeks are responsible for modern conceptions of what liberty is and, as one example; Locke wrote extensively of liberty in 1689.

Do schools still require students to buy a dictionary? Back in my day (get off my back 40 acres, kid) we were required to have a Merriam Webster dictionary.
Are these changes being made to corner 'that' market?
When in doubt, follow the money.

Ridiculous. Did they change the definition of vaccine as well? Because people have been using it incorrectly the last two years just like some people have been using the word “girl” incorrectly apparently

Way to miss the point. Apparently your schooling was even worse than you thought.

bullshite.
Here's a quick selection of just one shelf of an entire bookcase on political philosophy. I walk the walk, what about you?

I mean, you are just wrong.
Sorry, I just spent three weeks touring our western national parks, am in a hotel right now, and don't have access to my own book collection to be such an arrogant e-douche as you.

So you're full of shite. Like you are in all of your posts.
Check.
Here's a hint dumbfrick. I took AP European history as well. Bastiat is not in any way a hallmark of European history. He's not even counted as one of the more important European philosophers of the time. However he did lay the groundwork for much of the following ideas on limited government and focus on individual rights.
You'd of course know that if you weren't completely full of shite saying you read him during AP European high school classes.

The word "Cock" has changed over time.
In America it was used for poontang for much of the middle part of 20th century.

Hegel can suck my choad.
Do you know what his dialectic is? It's a deconstruction of the admirable concept of compromise, observed, exploited, weaponized against the trusting and good-hearted. Seized on by the communists, one of the most effectively destructive and tyrannical ideas of the modern world. He's a parasite.

I mean, the French had a word, liberte, and it was taken to mean “freedom to do as one chooses” in the 14th century. I’m not discounting Locke by any means, but I don’t classify his opining on political theory as a discontinuity on the definition of the word “liberty”

Nah, I just like calling you out on your horseshite.
Gravitiger posts, it's bullshite. The entire forum knows this.
It's why you're a fricking joke along with OweO, conz, etc.
