I worked with a guy who was an Eucharist Minister and would help with baptisms at his church. One baby girl was named E na mel. The mom said it was a color of paint she really liked. She took the name from the label on the paint can.
It was enamel paint.

There was (or maybe still is) a brother and sister in Louisiana with last name of Peters.

There first names were Delicious and Tiddybaby.

ESPN which was pronounced as Espen. Why not just name the kid NFL Sunday Ticket and be done with it?

Friend’s sister named her kid Salem Blue. Friend’s father-in-law: “Why not name the kid Marlboro Red and be done with it?”

Brother-in-law was a physician and one of his techs would run over to The Med (Memphis’ charity hospital) back in the ‘80s when they still posted the live births weekly. My favorites:

Tamara Knight
Buick Riviera
Krista Shandalere
Royal Flakes
Innocent Asevah

Used to go to college with a girl named Lahoma.

Strangest part was that it was a country white girl instead of a black girl.

J.W. and it doesn't stand for anything. That's his first name his parents gave him.

One of my first jobs was doing paperwork at a doctor's office in the not so great part of town. We had some doozys come in but the worst was "Illkillya." She (yup it was a girl) was eventually taken away by the state because the mom was a hopeless druggie and there was no dad. The family that adopted her legally changed her name to a normal name.
