This is just flat out the way to go now. Is it expensive and probably overpriced? Yep. But god damn is it fricking convenient! Not owning, storing, hauling it down, and lugging in and out each day all of the tents, chairs and other shite and just bringing my cooler to already set up and reserved chairs and umbrellas is just worth it to me nowadays.

I live near the beach- we go to the beach once a week and we get there around 4pm until dark so, no need to stake a piece of the beach for me…it’s generally open

This ain’t the OT of yore.

Real OT ballers don’t have this problem. We just use our private beach.

January 30th. I set my umbrella in concrete and piss in a twelve foot radius all around it. That holds me for the Summer.

Is this the thread where everyone will imply that everyone else's venue choice for a beach trip demonstrates poverty or trashiness?

yes sir, I'm not a big lay out on the beach type but one of my best friends owns a condo in Destin that we go to a few times a year and she is, so we do go out there with her for a bit each day, she owns the place and the beach is part of the condo so it's not a problem unless it's a big/holiday weekend but she tips the cabana boys that handle the umbrellas and chairs pretty well to keep the poors away

I love those people that save chairs by the pool at the resort staking their claim at 7 AM.

Excuse me while I throw your towel in the bushes and relax.

I reserve my chairs and umbrella for the week the day we get there.

My tent goes up behind it around 6:30-7 am each morning.

How crowded do beaches get that you can’t fit a chair and towel?
