Sandwich for lunch on the road

I’m in sales and bring my lunch just about everyday during the week. Those of you that do like me, what options do you use? I do wheat bread with either ham or turkey. This gets boring quick. Chips on the side. Sandwich is basically meat, mayo and cheese. I’m not bringing this to an office frig either. Small ice chest in my car with ice paks.

Just try different kinds of sandwiches.
Switch out the wheat bread for Hawaiin rolls every now and then. Try honey mustard instead of mayo sometimes.
You can also try rollups on a tortilla.
Or maybe pack pita and hummus with veggies and a side of deli meat.

There are 500 kinds of mustard now. Smoke a butt and use that for meat variety. Avocado.

Watercress tea sandwiches are the best

Bologna (or mortadella if you want to get fancy) with stone ground mustard, provolone, and arugula.

Throw some store bought chicken salad in a small container then plop it on some bread
Add chips and you have a nice little lunch
Also do tortillas for wraps to mix it up (wheat bread gets old AF after repeated meals)

Pound some chicken breast pretty thin, marinate if you like and grill a bunch of them on Sunday, get some decent buns, put a chicken breast, Swiss cheese slice , some lettuce purple onion and mayo in the cooler , put the bun in a ziplock and put on dashboard, at lunchtime construct your sandwich and enjoy

Smucker’s uncrustable frozen PB&J’s. Costco sells them by the 18 pack. I can’t remember what I paid for them but online they show ~$17.00 but I bet they are cheaper in store
It says it on the packaging but they are good to go without being refrigerated for 8 hours I believe. I love them. Caloric front, 320 so not too bad there either
Can’t think of much else beyond the basics/what’s already been suggested

Yea on the meat and cheese. Lost 28lbs last fall doing an Atkins type diet. Was just trying to figure a way to kick a sandwich up a notch. I’m not gonna prep and fix a meal in the front seat of my car. Gonna have to be something I can add to a sandwich to change it up some. Siracha comes to mind now

I like to make a curried chicken chutney salad and put it on either ciabatta or pita bread.

Bowls, tastes way better than a sandwich and you won't be eating processed bread and meat

Hard salami.
It’ll change your life.

Egg salad. Never get tired of it.
Then again, I don’t eat it everyday.
ETA: a low carb wrap is a nice switch from bread. I like them way more than I thought I would.

Buy some french bread or something along those lines.
Like someone else said, Sometimes Ill prep like 3lbs of chicken and use it in different ways Monday-thursday. A couple loaded salads and a couple sandwiches in a different style throughout the week.
Side note, Ive gotten in a better routine in the last year of making a little more dinner than in the past and bringing the leftovers to lunch the next day.

Different types of vinaigrettes, hummus, avocado all can be added in your car. I use herbs from the garden to make a good vinaigrette
Mix in roast beef, salami, pastrami instead of just turkey and ham. I like deli sliced chicken too
