Much as everybody is calling this Chicago, it isn't. It's a wealthy suburb way up north. Highland Park is to Chicago as Plano is to Dallas or Alpharetta is to Atlanta.
HP is known for wealthy and upper middle class people with a large Jewish population. The only criminals of any type (other than this shooter) are the occasional white collar criminal or domestic violence, but mostly folks doing 35 in a 25 and pool board members making lewd comments.
