Macy Gray accused of transphobia after saying surgery 'doesn't make you a woman'

Macy Gray is gonna catch a load of crap…the trans crew is the present day leftist flavor of the week and thus by speaking against it, in any capacity, you will be labeled as a hate monger or “phobe” regardless of what logic or context the statement in question is yanked out of.

There's a reason suddenly everyone is saying "gender" in place of "sex".
Back in the 80s, when genital mutilation surgery started getting more popular, people realized that they were just changing outward appearance, and not really changing actual sex. Since they could no longer refer to "transsexual", and since "transvestite" only covered clothing and not genitalia, they had to come up with something else - thus, "transgender" was born.
So, no, people aren't going from X,X to X,Y or X,Y to X,X.
