The DA has announced that bail bonds are BOGO this weekend, so go have a ball!

Let’s meet up at 3 am for a hand grenade and head down Rampart and see where the last bit of night takes us.

You do know there is a lot to the city other than the French Quarter?
Heaven forbid y’all figure out bars and restaurants exist in other parts of the city.

Im telling yall, the Essence crowd really isn't bad at all. I don't know why this board acts like its such a horrible event.

It’s not bad. Lots of peace loving civilians definitely not out to start trouble. I predict no shootings this weekend. Go have fun watching all that fine black booty.

Was down there Friday night for the Van Gogh exhibit. Wasn't crowded at all. We had a fun time.

Isn't this the time of year when bars and restaurants in NOLA "close for repairs?"

I heard Marigny bars are dead. A bumch of bars and restaurants closed for the weekend. There's been big fights over it on fb.

No idea.

Left for Biloxi Friday morning, coming back Tuesday evening.

I do this every ‘Essence Weekend’ and I suggest you do the same.

Some of y’all need to go outside your bubble.

Essence crowd = folks with careers

Bayou Classic crowd = folks with jobs

I live in the Warehouse District and aside from some function at the Jonathan Ferrara gallery on Julia that clogged the streets with traffic for a few hours it’s been otherwise quiet. Much better than when there’s a hip hop concert at Republic and the idiots drag race down Julia as they leave at 4 in the morning.
