But you also post hopefully and regularly about Bill Maher. I've got a secret for you about him...he's a dipshit leftist as well.

I love how people around here thought he was a "voice of reason" like 6 months ago

Imagine being for killing babies and then thinking you have moral authority.
Clown world.
Clown world.

This fricking guy.
Go read Justice Breyer's dissenting opinion I'm NYSRPA v. Bruen and tell me there's any "reasoned debate or philosophical education" to be found. fricking looks like he copy pasted it from the Gifford's site.

Dude, you may have your issues with Sullivan perhaps being not " conservative" enough for you. But I would not put him anywhere close to Marxist. He's a British conservative

But they are now the Fox News of justice. I mean, there is no consistency. States can’t regulate guns, but they can regulate uter — it, you know?
This is such poor, low quality thinking.
I don’t know if Stewart is indeed this stupid or if he is dishonest. Either is plausible.

quote:Jon Stewart needs to read the 2nd, 9th and 10th amendments. If the democrats want a federal right to an abortion so badly, call a constitutional convention and try to get 3/4 of the states to ratify an amendment
States can’t regulate guns, but they can regulate uter — it, you know?

That's because the Bill of Rights specifically mentions firearms, but it makes no mention of determination over womb use.

It is a cynical pursuit in the same way that Fox News would come out with ‘We’re fair and balanced’ under the patina of what would be a high status pursuit to the betterment of society, journalism. They are a cynical political arm.
It tickles me how bad that tagline STILL triggers The Left.
Fox News only exists because of Rush, who not only filled a GIGANTIC gap thanks to nearly all mainstream media leaning Left but proved it was financially possible. Were it not for the blatant partisanship of nearly everyone in Legacy Media, Fox News would almost certainly never have existed.
The tag line was a cute little "frick you" to them for being so biased for so long. That they get so bent about it is just hilarious, given their biases created Fox.

Is this one of those times where hes being a comedian and not to be taken seriously?
Because the constitution names guns. It doesnt even hint at abortion.

In my mind, the idea that this was based in any kind of reasoned debate or philosophical education — the Supreme court is now the Fox News of justice, in my mind.
Meanwhile, in the real world...

So many people (including Stewart, here) just do not grasp the difference between (a) those things that a government perhaps SHOULD be able to do (ideological) versus (b) those things that a government is AUTHORIZED to do by its Constitution (pure statutory construction).

From a man too cowardly to use his real name, Lieberman.

Is he saying he wants consistency out of the SC? We all do, and they’ve been pretty consistent over the last couple weeks, just not the way he wants. And who is lying? Left d-bag

I'm willing to bet Sullivan is voting straight R down the ballot in 2022 just as a "frick you" to Stewart and the Left at large.
This is delusion.

Thanks, but I already knew you were stupid, Jon.
Posted on 6/30/22 at 5:26 pm to jatilen
But if the Court had voted as he wanted on these issues...well, then that's just the way it should be.

For everyone who jumped on the "Jon Stewart is based" train after he went on Colbert and made fun of people who didn't believe Covid came from a lab in China, here's why we mocked you.
