Projected to be $507 this month. We keep it at 76 during the day. It never turns off and still reaches 80 degrees inside on hot days.
You'd definitely be much better off buying a couple window units if that's the best your unit can do.

June bills, $53.39 electric & $83.02 natty, helps to live at 7,100 feet altitude, have 1 foot thick walls with quality windows, and use mini-split A/C's as necessary. shite, it even rained here 5 of the last 7 days and helped clear out the air from the massive forest fires. $4.86 for reg gas last week. Chile season is coming...

I’m at $508, $160 more than previous month. I had rarely ever hit the $300s. Mine does include water and gas.

I had to sell my balls to pay for my energy bill.

do some of you have 6000 sq ft houses with terrible insulation? i mean i'm at almost 3000 with cathedral ceilings in half the house and tons of windows, leaky doors everywhere and my bill was $150 last month, $170 this month, and that's about normal compared to last year. I've got a 5 and 3 ton unit and keep the house at 73 all day and 68 at night. how are some of you racking up $500 bills?
Bull fricking shite.

I’m in north GA in a 3k sq foot house and our bill is like 220 a month. I keep the AC on 76 during the day 72 at night.
We don’t get raped by storm damage charges here.

$500 seems high but your house must be insulated and sealed up a lot more than you’re giving it credit for
My bill is about $20 more than last years as well

WIsh they'd break this down like they do the fuel charge per kwh
I wish Entergy would break down this data.
They would show how much they are charging for each kWH you use. They break it down by each hour online and in the App, but it is never the same because of fractional kWH’s.
Part of that Energy charge is a meter charge. Which means you can have zero usage and still get a bill for the meter.

This reminds me of an apartment I had in college where I never had an Entergy bill over $8. That's right, no zeroes. Our meter was obviously broken. Never should have moved.
Did you live in plantation trash? My meter was broken there for several months and it was glorious. I would check it every day to see if it was spinning.
Last month was 403. I’m scared Of this month’s bill.

Also these $500 bills make the return on solar look a lot better, especially if you can swing the extra cost for on-site battery storage.
That’s the plan, homie. Make everything else so fricking expensive that their dumb arse plan is finally the better choice n

-$25 this month. I moved and they applied the $400 deposit from my last house to this months bill. I’m sure next month will be much less fun.

$242 this month. Washington st tammany elec coop. Last yr $168. House used 24/7 so July/Aug bills should be fun. Time to fire up the old ebay antiquetiger style?
