Why give them free advertising and trash up your new car? Inspiration was seeing multiple pink Auto Nation plate frames…

GTFO and take it off or add a discount and I’ll take it after the fact.

Should be illegal, imo.

You know they aren’t permanent, right?

Many are because they cover part or all of the state name. Texas reinforced this to me on a little piece of expensive paper regarding a Price Leblanc frame.

Yeah, I've never let this happen. Being in advertising I've always enjoyed explaining this to salespeople at dealerships.

"Tell you what. You can leave your rolling billboard on my vehicle, and I'll charge you billboard rates. Say, $300 a month for the life of the car?"

Nah, peel that shite off. It's like Dillards sewing on their logo to a shirt because you bought it there. It's absolutely absurd and one of the few things I actually get irrationally mad about.

Recently bought a brand new car from Team Toyota and they went a step further by putting the shitty fake chrome looking stick on letters on the back of the car. So Pissed.

Hair dryer and dental floss is an easy way to take them off.

Most dealerships actually bill you for it. I have told them to take the charge and logo off quite a few times.

Licence plate frames are trashy. A little 3 inch logo on the tailgate of my truck, I don't really care.

Shouldn’t have to, that’s the point.

The dealer drilling holes in the front bumper for a plate in La bothers me more.

First thing I do with a new car is to remove the vinyl lettering for the dealership, even when I know the owner.

I know someone who won a car calling in to the radio station. But they had to leave the ridiculous station logo wrap on for 1 year as part of the deal.

You're still advertising for Polo or Brooks Brothers. It's why I prefer LL Bean. No logo.

I always laugh at the people with the license plate frames.

I purchased a boat from a place that was famous for putting their dealer badges all over their boats. I told the sales guy if my boats comes out with one dealer badge, I'm not buying it... Not one was on there...

Same thing I told the siding guy... They put up a sign in front my house when I had new gutters installed, I told them take your sign cause it's going in the trash soon as y'all leave.
