I take the dealer license plate frame and put the license plate on top of it. It makes a good buffer between the plate and the truck. Then an LSU Alumni license plate frame on top of that.

If its a dealer decal, it gets removed the moment I get home.

I throw them in the trash and then the next thing I do is take the dealership sticker off my vehicle.

Had a coworker take her car in to a local dealer for minor warranty work. That dealer changed all the badging on the car to its own (name on tailgate, license frame and white vinyl letters worn website address in top of rear window).

I told her to give me the keys and I would gladly go make the case for them to take all that shite off and detail her vehicle for no charge. She wouldn’t let me, but she did go back a week later and they took it off and acted like they made a mistake and thought she was trading it in.

Every vehicle I've gotten for myself or my wife across multiple states has obliged my request to remove them without any objection whatsoever

Even when we've had vehicles shipped they've always done it. Just ask.

I told them to remove their decal before I drove it off the lot.

I saw a doctor's Ferrari 360 with a carconnection plate frame one day. Saw the same car the next day at best buy and the frame was gone.

Guess he thought more about it.

Not as easy as telling dealer to not put it on in the first place or take it off before you leave.

I bought in January and before it was delivered to the dealer from the factory I told them to not put stickers or a license plate frame.

first thing I do is take off the plate frames and stickers. You want me to keep that on my car? You can pay me a monthly advertising fee.

I always take them off first thing. One dealership I haggled with gave free carwashes if you left their plate frame on the vehicle which seemed fair.

Gerry Lane had oil changes for life if you kept their license plate on the front. It really bugged me but I love free stuff so I kept it

What I am amazed by is cars with used car dealers that are obviously "tote the note" places.
I have a great name for a bad credit used car lot.
"Second Chance"
"Deadbeat Credit"
