Counter strike is still the best FPS game ever made

I just keep on coming back to this game.. I play valorant and I get bored mid match, I play Apex and I only play a couple matches before I get bored, but I could player Cs all day. There’s just something about how simple the game is but how high the skill ceiling is. 20+ years later and I’m still hooked.

I just wish it had a working matchmaking system here. You basically have to play faceit if you want to be sure some 12 year old isn't aimbotting, and then you're stuck with some sweat shite talking you for not hitting some impossible flick shot.

Used to play on ESEA but faceit is much better now.

I tried playing GO a few years back and could just never quite get into. Give me 1.6 or however it is referred to now and TFC all day. I’d waste hours and hours back in the day on both.

Pretty much the same here, been playing since around 1.5 came out I think, 20 years ago. I might go a few months or even years without playing, but I always end up getting back into it.

Best multiplayer fps games I've ever played are CS GO and that 1 or 2 years that PUBG was hyped and had ridiculous player counts. They both have my absolute favorite gunplay.

I fricked with Counter Strike 1.6 back in the day. Came out when I was 14 and I'd play that game non-stop.
Also enjoyed DoD and Team Fortress Classic.

What rank are y'all on GO? At my peak I hit faceit level 5 for a few weeks and got smacked back down to level 4. You'll get humbled quick

Counterstrike isn't a bad game, but it's incredibly overrated.

I enjoy Valorant bc I need more than just the pure FPS gameplay that CS has, but I respect the greatness of CS’ simplicity and pure mechanics
