I agree, but if there is a push to put a national 15 week ban in place, they we would not have had any option.

This is such a bullshite story.

Don't forget the hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars in unnecessary medical bills.
Yet cost was never mentioned as part of the rationale for the decision. Additionally, comfort measures don't actually costs anything as compared to NICU charges etc. So really cheaper, from a "bills" perspective. Possibly even less expensive then traveling out of state and paying out of pocket for an elective procedure. So nothing was forgotten.

I am just glad the abortion ban will bring more talk of and access to contraception, especially for young people

For the millionth time... USSC didn't ban abortion.
Why do you morons keep saying this?

Removal of constitutional protection which allowed a state ban in place to go into effect? What is the proper verbiage to use? Please educate the morons

"I killed my kid, tell me it's ok". That's for you to decide bud. You can still fly to Cali and kill your next one.

That state’s representatives who were elected by the people of that state voted to ban abortions. Previously the power granted to the state and it’s people to do this was usurped by the Supreme Oligarchy. That has been corrected. Abortions can continue up to birth in New York while being banned in others along with states in between. Changes to all can occur at state level without lengthy lawsuits with cases eventually going to Supreme Oligarchy for their thumbs up or thumbs down.
If you are talking about places like Wisconsin that might have a ban from the mid 1800s pop up that is problem with Supreme Oligarchy defining its own judicial review powers and the process including how it modifies or scratches through laws for the states and Congress instead of forcing them redo and vote on a new law themselves. That along with adding better checks and balances for judicial branch after confirmation needs to be corrected as well.

This is still not a "reason" for an abortion. While an extremely tragic situation for a couple (and her sibling), I'm not sure what you gained by paying someone to end her life early. And since you mention feeling shame, I can promise you would not feel that way if you had allowed her to be born.

Seems really weird that you asked everyone there why they were getting an abortion.
This would be hard to explain to someone like you since you probably have Asperger Syndrome.

Proper verbiage is that the USSC returned power to the states as the constitution intended.

This is a tough decision. My opinion nor others matters. You have to to own and live with the decision.
I have two special needs daughters. We had no idea when they came in the world. One is Autistic and the other has Cystic Fibrosis.
The autistic daughter graduated ULL in May and is employed with a good job. The child with CF is a senior at Texas Tech. Both had tons of challenges but overcame and have unbelievably bright futures.
Life is hard and we have to sometimes make difficult decisions. Thanks for sharing.

It's really none of your business.
Matthew 7:1-5 Jesus says, “Judge not, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”

I like the people who are downvoting. It must suck to realize how much of a massive piece of shite you are.

These states that have banned abortion have inserted themselves into the process by saying states have a vested interest in a pregnancy being carried to viability then to birth. However, most will do nothing to help the mother of that unwanted pregnancy have a healthy gestation, nor will the state do much to make the newly born baby have a healthy life. Most these children in which the state now has a self appointed vested interest are now grist for the judicial/prison industrial complex.
Which states are you referring to that don’t offer Medicaid or WIC?
quote:
Had the fetus in the OP been carried to term, it would have caused irreparable emotional and financial harm to the family (and financial burden to the state as well). Had the parent been a poor family or poor single mother, the catastrophic defect would likely have never been found, ensuing in a traumatic birth and millions of dollars in NICU care and beyond--all charged to the state.
Wait the state does nothing to help the mother or baby have a healthy life but it also picks up the million dollar tab for birth and NICU? Which one is it - the state does nothing or the state pays for the entire bill for poor people?

And it sucks to say this as a factor, we were not financially prepared for medical costs associated with what it would take to give her a 5% chance of survival.
Lmao
I’m sure your daughter will appreciate you one day explaining how your killed her little sister because you didn’t want to deal with the financial struggles of a special needs child. Good man you are!
