I don’t understand the outrage. It’s a state rights issue. If you want to kill a baby, go to a state that lets you kill babies. Are you that pissed off that you actually may have to travel now to kill a baby? States need to get their rights back and let the people decide what is right vs what is wrong. There is a reason millions of California people are flea to Texas. Certain policies erode society and people don’t like them. You can choose if you want to live in a shitty state. Hell, I choose to live in Louisiana. Daddy Federal government needs to be pulled back. I hope they look at the commerce clause next. That shite is out of hand.

And these women that are actually conservative across the board, become emotional pretzels when they hear about “abortion becoming illegal”. Doesn’t matter that isn’t what happened. That’s what they hear and emotions take over, and good luck brining an emotional woman back to reality
In fairness to them, while the ruling in Dobbs doesn’t make abortion illegal, in the context of discussing “conservative women”, this ruling did de facto make abortion illegal in most of the states those women live in. For a woman living in south Louisiana, the nearest state with legal abortion will be what, Illinois? New Mexico?
Not exactly a “few hour drive” like I’ve seen thrown around a few times

When y'all say dumb shite like this, I dislike old white men as well, and I am one.

NB4 Rog comes in here with his patented ‘white women mafia’ quote he drops in a couple threads a day

Problem is a lot of what you are seeing is from the conservative women…. RvW needed to be overturned. However, it’s a huge win for democrats at the polls. Because, nobody is a single issue voter quite like a white middle class woman. Agreed. Republicans can never get out of their own way.
They were going to absolutely cruise to victories in 2022 and 2024.
Now Dems maintain both houses in 2022 and a presidential election that should have been a landslide will be even.

I completely disagree.
Women who put abortion at the top of their list of voting issues will hardly ever vote conservative. The timing of this will work out ok. Once this settles down in a week or two, there will be a good 3-4 months of the continued realization that we're in the middle of an economic shite storm and the left is holding the bag.

I agree but this is still reality in this country.
I still think it’s all overblown by a hyper polarized media and bots. Of course media will continue to make the polarization worse though. In reality I don’t think there’s more than 5% of people that were infuriated enough to take to tik tok or twatter or to a protest yesterday though. I mean maybe it’s because I’m on vacation, but not a single person I crossed paths with yesterday seemed to give 2 shits about yesterdays ruling.

There are twenty nine motherfrickers who like these people just the way they are. Unfrickingbelievable.

I mean, this has been a foundation of their party for decades. The MAGA wing of the republican party is very much anti-abortionand is the part of the party with the most momentum and most poised to get the win you said they were cruising for. It's a little baffling that people have this attitude that political parties should just do what they need to do elected and not actually adhere to the principles they espouse.

There’s a dozen or so regular posters that love to be all up in the political threads who forget what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Not principled at all. Can’t just speak out one side of your mouth when it’s convenient

abortion does not poll as a priority for the majority americans anywhere near inflation, gas prices, or the economy. this doesn’t help, but to say it’s a even match now is pushing it

It hasn’t up to this point, but I expect to see a spike in the next round of polls. I think the more interesting question is whether it sustains or falls back to the norm.

Progressives in general are the problem. They work directly with our foreign enemies to take us down from within. The DC Uniparty is under this umbrella as well.

And no one thought it would ever happen so it was just in the background.
I’ve seen a bunch of white bitches on social that have been talking bold lately about Biden and possibly voting R absolutely FREAKING about this and flipping back to solid D.
It sucks. Just really really really poor timing.

That’s because women are irrational idiots.
Once social media gave the weakest people voices, this is BS that comes from it.
That’s why the multi color hair, gender issues idiots are constantly saying stuff
