There’s a difference between being “against abortion” but not believing anything would come of that. Nothing had happened of any substance in 50 years.
Now, something has. Drastically.
With all the shite going on right now - all time high inflation, mass shortages of things like fertilizer, fuel, baby formula, and raw materials, sexual indoctrination of kids, labor shortages, watching their retirement accounts disappear - if people are using this as reasoning for maintaining that status quo, then they were never seriously considering voting for Republicans. Like I said, once this dies down and the daily grind settles back in, people will see just how miniscule this issue really is. Besides, what happens if they do vote D? Is RvW just going to magically come back? I don't think the Dems could come together to codify abortion. These people can't even agree on what a woman is.

People SHOULD be voting for those in the Legislative branch that they believe will initiate bills and laws that support their beliefs. If they prefer to vote in people that want to waste tax dollars on impeachments and inquiries for show, go ahead. I don't like it but everyone SHOULD have their own criteria for who they vote for.
People SHOULD be voting for Presidents who may appoint SC Justices that would interpret the US Constitution in alignment with their ideology.
This isnt a bad thing, it's how it should be.

In most States, abortion will still be available. I'm not sure what women think RvW actually means.

White liberal women are the only ones who will have an abortion and brag it to the rest of the world. Women in the east will have one but will keep quiet about it due to shame.
They'll speak about it as if they're heroes, but when they lay their heads down at night, the feeling of shame and guilt is undeniable

Well when they are voting democrat based on feelings and causing this country to be destroyed from the inside out then yea I’d say they are about as bad as a terrorist

I think it's going to be more granular than that. To use Louisiana as an example again, there are exceptions for birth control, Plan B, and life of the mother. I think state level politicians running on platforms of simply adding rape and incest as exceptions would poll extremely well.
I think the more interesting political fight will be over first trimester elective abortions. I think that's where you see the battle lines get drawn 50/50, and people will dig in deep.

In most states in which Republican voting women live, elective abortion is no longer available post-Dobbs. I think that's an important distinction.

And people wonder why I'm still single. White women are mother fricking nuts.

Perhaps. I just don't see this moving the needle drastically in one direction or another on a federal election level.

I clearly meant red states, but sure.

The "next state" for women in Louisiana is something like Illinois or New Mexico. Do you really think that's not going to catch the attention of some of them?

Sounds like a perfect opportunity for an enterprising SJW like yourself to grab some slush fund money and start a non profit to transport women to kill their mistakes.

Frankly, it shouldn't move the needle at all at the federal level (outside of presidential election re: SCOTUS picks, I suppose), but people are stupid, and that counts double when it comes to the actual levers of politics.
I think abortion exceptions are about to become a much fought over plank in platforms in state level elections.

“COME WATCH THE BEARS PLAY AND YOU CAN SEE TWO ABORTIONS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!”

You offer no solutions, I do, and you say "frick off."
Typical woman. Doens't want truth. Wants to stay in their misery and whine.

it’s a huge win for democrats at the polls.
Yeah, this was the only shot they have at energizing their base and pulling some of those white suburan women into their fold at the polls. They literally have nothing else to run on. Make no mistake, the DNC loves this decision. However, I don't think it's going to do anywhere near enough at the polls to save them. They're about to get slaughtered in mid-terms.

Typical Roger: wades into a substantial conversation, tosses around insults, then plays the victim.
