Put it this way, if Dyson had shot it 39% from three and had a pull up jumper, he’d be in the conversation for top 4 because he’d be the best two way guard prospect in years.

If Vinson can pull some Lonzo magic with him, Dyson is gonna be one of the most coveted two way connector players in the league

Agreed. And I didn’t even mention the things he does off the ball offensively. Really good cutter, averaged 2.2 ORB’s. He’s a high floor and high ceiling prospect.

His shooting form looks textbook.

I don’t think it’s textbook, there’s a weird hitch at times, alligator arms it, a bit of a push off shot, shoots over his eye which can mess up depth perception.

But that’s a good thing imo.

If it were textbook we might be facing a Cam Redish situation, where there’s nothing to fix and it’s beyond mechanics and at that point, there’s not much you can do

I know you never post so this might be news to you, but we have the greatest shooting coach in the league, probably of all time
lol. All time huh? Let’s see your top 10 list of shooting coaches all time to see how you reached such a conclusion

I think Vinson will fix his outside/perimeter issues in time.

Sick and fricking tired of hearing this. Why does every one of our players need to be fixed for shooting. Just draft a guy who can shoot and quit picking projects. Terrible pick

Daniels’ floor, if he can perform from day 1, fill a major need for us to start with.

If he develops from there, we’ll be fricking scary.

Shooting is fixable.

Defense? Athleticism? Wingspan? Less so.

No who’s that? Last time I checked you need more than 2 people who can shoot on a team

Daniels has a good release but doesn't use his lower body enough, hence the "push" look of the shot.

He has touch. It's all very fixable.

Oh yeah I wasn’t comparing either I just thought I should mention his form already looks pretty good - some people are acting like he’s Markelle Fultz from 3

Agreed

It’s not anywhere close to the mess Lonzo had coming to Vinson

A few tweaks and some repitiiton and I think it’s very doable, which, he has already shown some growth with, so that’s a good sign.

Literally the guy this board was in almost universal agreement we all wanted, and have discussed for months.

Rantards descend from the rafters.

I think “universal” is overstating it slightly but, yes, he along with Mathurin and Ivey were considered the kind of guys we should get.

Hey, the draft is a big day: time for those trashy posters/trolls to come out and do their thing.
