The Great Salt Lake is drying up: Bad News for the Mormans.

Problem is, some of the toxic metals in the lake are from past mining operations. They were killing themselves long before they even knew it was happening.
This lake has been drying up for millions of years. Did no one realize that without proper water distribution and restrictions that the lake would disappear altogether?

The lake is low for sure. But Antelope State Park was really cool last summer. I highly recommend it if you're in SLC.

The lake area fluctuates greatly. It's normal for that to happen.
