Why does everyone hate Tennessee so much?

Just wondering. You would think they are Alabama with all the hate lately. They have a very good baseball team and it just seems we’re being a little jealous. We have been there so many times, let them have their fun. They will probably blow ND out the next 2 games anyway so the joy here will be short lived. I don’t mind seeing them win, but sure….. I’d much rather the Tigers still be in it.

They are a very good baseball team although that isn't main the reason a lot dislike them.
I believe many don't care so much for the shenanigans of their coaches/players fighting with the umps, shite talking to other teams, etc.

One thing that is annoying as hell is they argue every freaking pitch. They genuinely seem to think that every pitch they throw is a strike and every pitch they take is a ball. I get that it’s roid rage to some extent, but give it a damn rest.

Everyone hates Bama because they are so good and tough to beat but I think everyone respects them because they respect the game and their opponents. Tennessee could be likeable, they play a style of baseball that everyone prefers. Power pitching and power hitting, foot on the gas to the floor for all 9 innings. There’s confidence and swag and then there’s Tennessee baseball.
Look at LSU in 2019. Yes, the team knew they could beat anyone and they had fun doing it, but they never acted like this group of assholes.

IIRC, Saban gave us this lecture on the weekly radio show after fans had stormed the football field after a regular conference win in TS. It was in 2003.

I don't hate them, but their players embrace being the bad guys. Not really a fan of that and would prefer to see them lose. Their fans are also a bit obnoxious.
