Headed to Napa next week and looking for restaurant suggestions.

Subtle brag thread
I have heard that Farmstead, Solbar, Ad Hoc, and Press are all great. Haven't been yet.

The other Thomas Keller restaurants are good too - Bouchon and Ad Hoc.
Brix
Bistro Jeanty
Bottega, as someone else mentioned.

I'll throw another recommendation for ad hoc.

Can’t go wrong with their fried chicken. Last trip we ate at Morimoto & Bistro Don Giovanni. Both were very good. Giovanni does fried olives that are very good (not on the menu so you have to ask).

I had a great meal here.

Going in August. Thanks for starting this. I found a lot of winery suggestions on here but no real restaurant discussions.

Can only vouch for Girl and the Fig as a restaurant. For a grab and go sandwich between wine stops, Vineburg deli is the shite.

Haven’t heard of Vineburg. We usually do Oakville grocery for sandwiches. You can call in an order and avoid the long wait. Our driver took us to some other deli that is inside a grocery store last trip because we had a tight window that day and it was really good. Will have to try and see if I can find the name of it.

To be fair it is in Sonoma, not Napa

Got ya. We typically do Model for breakfast but wanted something different one day so went to Valencia Market & Taqueria and they had really good breakfast burritos.

Can’t recall if it is Napa or Sonoma but RUSTIC at Coppola is very good.
Order a notification Archimedies and their bone-in ribeye as appetizer. Have waiter de-bone the steak and slice into bite size servings similar to ahi tuna. Fantastic way to start a meal.

Three of my favorites are:
Bistro Jeanty
Bistro Don Giovanni
Mustards Grill. You have been there but I like the Mongolian pork chop.
Thomas Keller's Bouchon was recommended several times above. I have not been to the one in Napa but I have been to the one at the Venetian in Las Vegas twice and thought it was excellent.

Bouchon is overrated. Farmstead is damn good

Best restaurant story. Went to Cindy’s Back Porch (no longer there I think) . They had this oyster appetizer (on the half shell) . My dad looks up and says “man, that sounds great, we’ll take 2 dozen” . Waitress didn’t know what to say. They show up and we begin to channel our inner acme oyster house. Table next to us what using a fork and knife to cut one.
