I’m thinking about making some prop bets. Burrow is 1100 odds to win MVP. Thinking about placing $100 on it.
Also I’m definitely placing the over of 6.5 win total for LSU this season. Thoughts?

OP asked for input, you give him grief. No wonder this board sucks.

Vegas doesn't build all those pretty casinos and hotels because they give easy totals.

You have 3 games that you can objectively pencil in as wins in Southern, New Mexico & UAB.

New staff and tons of new players, it's not out of the question that we drop the FSU game. (See UCLA last year)

If that happens, you have to win four of your eight SEC games. Four home and four away.

Bama is a home game that we likely drop.

Now you're on the road against Auburn, Florida, Arkansas and aTm. If you split those games (Big If), you HAVE to win 2 out of your 3 remaining home games against Ole Miss, Tennessee & Moo State, which isn't a cakewalk.

I know the fanbase is hopeful and hyped because there's new staff and that this is gonna be a new culture, etc... But that's how we felt moving forward after 2019 (and hindsight would prove we were wrong as wrong could be).

A lot of why people think this is an easy bet is all hype and incredibly subjective opinions based on that hype.

Can this team go out and win 7 games? Maybe. But things could just as easily turn sour, lest we forget the last two years.

My wife needs a new car, so I took the over for some easy money.
