On a side note, Lavar Arrington is terrible on two Pros and a cup of Joe. Quinn and the host are pretty good.

Sean Payton wanted them to wear that crap on their helmet and the entire team wore it. Why don't y'all bring that up when any other player is mentioned? Or even when Sean Payton is mentioned? Brees was in a lose/lose situation. Might as well go along with the HC and team at that point.

Now the popular thing is to continue to hate on Brees, because of a ridiculous 2020 year. If he sucked as an analyst, okay? Not sure why we continue to need others to critique or hate on the man over it.

If he would have told Sean Pillhead to frick off, what was CSP going to do? Bench him? Be serious.

frick Brees. He may have helped rebuild it, but he quickly tore it right back down

So true.. he was too stubborn to retire when he clearly didn’t have it. Would’ve been really nice to have Brady the past few seasons

This is exactly what I came to post. I would love to think that I would’ve handled it differently if I were him, but I can’t be sure. I don’t think any of you could, either, if you’re being totally honest with yourselves. I was very disappointed in him when it happened, and hindsight has made him look much worse. I do think that he’s a good person that was just put in an impossible position.

According to your profile picture Brees is supposed to be a "leader"....so why didn't he lead instead of bowing the knee like his teammates did??

If people can’t respect what Brees did for the franchise and the city, they aren’t true fans anyhow.
