Certainly not, but ensuing inflation because of unmercenary spending will be aggressive.

The Ukraine situation is tricky. I admit that total isolationism is not in the best interests of our national security BUT at this point, we are tired of war. We just spent the last 20 years fighting and losing thousands of our men and women. It’s not unreasonable to want to stay out of it unless Putin attacks America but I also can understand the idea of wanting to prop up another military to fight Russia and keep the fight over there and showing Putin we’re not gonna back down.

It’s tricky, but I still support staying out of it.

How is inviting foreign nationals into our country and teaching them to fly our planes and also not following up on suspicious behavior considered isolationism? If we were truly isolationist, those camel humpers would have not set foot on US soil, let alone been taught by our own government how to fly our planes.

That's as bad as when Tucker had to call him a liar to his face on his show and had Ted tuck his tail between his legs and apologize.

Simple thinking at its best

As if engaging in proxy wars against one of the big 3 will protect bad things from happening to us. Meanwhile, the economic system is collapsing around us.

You are a fool.

I don’t think there are more than 5 in both houses worth leaving in DC. Paul, Massie, MTG, Boebert….

Anybody else?

frick Ukraine..... Hey Ted, how about fixing all of our problems over here first? I don't know, food shortage, fuel crises and a wide open border with criminals crossing over into this country.

They all do, as much as I loath congressional democrats but the Rs hold much responsibility in the state of things.

Were we isolating ourselves in 2001? Seem to recall being kind of involved elsewhere for about a decade by that point, but maybe I'm forgetting...

Sen. Kennedy had a similar justification.

Because frick the American people that’s why?

Congress needs to stop saying they are carrying water for us. Their bucket has massive holes in it.

The problem is, we should not be in this situation in the first place. It's was the posture of this administration prior to February 24th that goaded Putin to invade Ukraine. A posture I'm sure promoted by State Department and Pentagon lobbyists to get us in a situation where there would be more military spending. And here we are. Goal achieved.

Now the once "support the current thing" brigade are whispering "negotiate" which I'm fine with. Or maybe that's just a trial balloon to test MIC lobbyists or a bone thrown to us folks that were against the $40 billion to Ukraine.
