Only these states require the ACT

Alabama
Hawaii
Idaho
Kentucky
Louisiana
Mississippi
Missouri
Montana
Nebraska
Nevada
North Carolina
North Dakota
Ohio
South Carolina
Tennessee
Utah
Wisconsin
Wyoming

So let’s take North Carolina and Ohio as states we would consider better public schools than here

East chapel hill high school, one of the top non charter public schools in North Carolina

Average ACT score of 25

Walnut HILLS one of the top public school in Ohio

Average ACT score of 26

It sure seems Mandeville high is hanging in there with them

Update:

State of Nebraska is ranked 8th best for education

Elkhorn High is their top rated public school. Average ACT score of 23.6

Really depends on where you are moving from. Are you coming from Texas? If so, we’re sorry. Are you coming from Slidell, Baton Rouge, or New Orleans? Congrats on the improvement.

There has been a huge influx of people who are very opinionated about development, drainage and traffic on the Northshore so take all positions on those subjects with a grain of salt.

This. The people responsible for the destruction and deterioration of quality of life are the same people bitching that they have to endure all the problems they caused.

A tail as old as time.

Just know that the Northshore is primed for growth and has always been.

Fingers crossed that the interstate work and 190 overpass at Claiborne hill lead to better traffic.

It’s arguably the best place to live in South Louisiana. It’s suburban NOLA but still a lot to do. I love it. However… if you’re a liberal you are not welcome here!

“You checking voter registration cards at da Sonic or something?”

Don’t have to. A certain stench and keeping of one’s home usually accompanies the free spirit lefties. If that doesn’t do it, some self-righteous sign in the yard does it.

Pro's: Better than having to live in Baton Rouge.

Con's: To long of a city name to type everytime you need to put down your address.
