"I mean, we were second in recruiting last year," Saban told the audience. "A&M was first. A&M bought every player on their team -- made a deal for name, image, likeness. We didn't buy one player, all right? But I don't know if we're gonna be able to sustain that in the future because more and more people are doing it. It's tough."
Saban said Alabama players made $3 million "doing it the right way" last year and that only 25 players were able to leverage NIL opportunities.
He isn't the first coach to call out the Aggies by name. In February, Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin quipped, "Texas A&M was going to incur a luxury tax in how much they paid for their signing class."

Now he's hammering Saban for his "operations and tactics." All but declaring that Saban has been violating NCAA rules for years.
Jimbo: I don't cheat and I don't lie. I learned that as a kid ... old man would slap you upside the head. Maybe somebody should have slapped him.

I'm thinking about Trent Richardson at this moment. New cars, momma got a 4 bedroom house at below market rent and a transfer as an assistant Mgr at Popeyes.
I am also thinking Tua. Dad conveniently had a cousin working at Birmingham Airport.
Nick should not be throwing stones.

Oh, I definitely think Nick probably should not have made that statement. I hope they both nuke each other into oblivion and there are no short rounds in BR.
