Let's stop the BS, this is the worst shooting on US soil in History. Silence after a week?

You SHOULD care.

Stephen Paddock shot 411 people. When all was said and done, 867 people were injured and 61 people were dead.

This matters and we just pretend like it didn't happen. Why the sudden silence after just one week?

Because country music fans are the subject of derision among opinion makers.

I don’t think the government was engaged in some cover up (except maybe of their own incompetence)

There was just no racial or other inflammatory subplot to it. So the people in charge of media had nothing to convene panels and boxes with heads in it to discuss it incessantly.

It sucks. But it’s the state we’re in with our discourse.

You ever been to Vegas? A high end hotel there? No way in hell did that guy carry a complete arsenal with multiple duffel bags of rifles/machine guns to his room without a camera picking him up.

Hint: they were turned off

And I don’t care WHAT his motivation was or WHO really did it

411 people shot that quickly in that short of a time in one place has never occurred in the USA - not even in the freaking CIVIL WAR…

And no one talks about it AT ALL

There’s a reason white privilege exists, but dressing like a presentable human being and acting cordial does take you far though.

No amount of white privilege would allow a man to drag a duffel bag with 24 rifles in it behind him on the floor in open view.

Have you ever carried a rifle? They aren’t easy to conceal, virtually impossible, even one

Now add in the duffel bag and times that times 24 in freaking high end Vegas

Maybe he had connections in the hotel then or was just smart.

It’s not that crazy. I’ve been to Vegas many times and have never been asked what’s in my luggage while going up to my room.

People don’t ask a lot of questions. They just assume everyone could be a high roller and maybe not a good idea to question them.

I agree with all your other points though. It seems like this was never investigated. No answers ever given.

And yet no investigation was done to root out the connections

You’d think common sense would dictate this was looked into - as you assume

But they shut the case down with a quickness

The guy was probably a leftist taking out his leftist rage on perceived conservatives. I'm sure once the political operators figured that out, they gave the media the gag order.

Its a little different now. You can have an openly avowed leftist, who hates black people, shoot up a store full of blacks - and rather than memory holing it - they simply prance around blaming the right and banning anyone who points out the truth.

If you shot 411 people - you’d think someone could pull up a camera in Vegas of you coming into the hotel though

But…nothing

There's multiple videos that were released that show him walking to the Front Desk, Casino Floor, and using the Service Elevator.

Would weigh close to 200 lbs. If not more. And that’s IF it had just rifles in it. I’m not taking the weight of the ammo into account.

Paddock had help.

I can't explain the cameras but I worked in Vegas and stayed at resort properties during the week and could have easily brought up anything I wanted. Roll a luggage cart out to the car stack some rifle cases, drop some suitcases on top and wheel them up to the room.

There are videos. What do you want? Footage of him in his room?

So 400+ were injured running over one another trying to get to safety? Was there an estimate of the number of shots fired? Surely, the concert was being recorded and shots fired should be on the recording. I agree this thing mysteriously disappeared from being reported on. Isn't this the event that drove Trump's ATF banning of bump stocks (bad move in my opinion)?

While I get that people generally ignore others while in Vegas, you cannot move an inch without being filmed all over that town.

Also, employees are watching all the time

Thank you for outing yourself as a moron instead of leaving us all to assume.

Anyone who drops lines about white privilege, white supremacy, etc... like they're still a thing is too stupid to walk and chew gum at the same time.
