Because country music fans are the subject of derision among opinion makers. I don’t think the government was engaged in some cover up (except maybe of their own incompetence) There was just no racial or other inflammatory subplot to it. So the people in charge of media had nothing to convene panels and boxes with heads in it to discuss it incessantly. It sucks. But it’s the state we’re in with our discourse.

The firearms industry has set to remove SBR/SBS and suppressors from NFA guidance before this happened. The HUSH act had the votes and was set to be signed into law. The suppressor market had adjusted and large firearms companies had begun production of them in anticipation of the new rules. Distribution was set, adjusting to bound books, and Cabelas (I was a firearms admin at the time) had already done training and had orders pending the new laws being signed.

And the Vegas shooter happened ending all support for anything firearms or NFA related. A bunch of companies folded over it. Daniel Defensive ownership was broken. They became a small parts supplier for HK all but ending their place in the market.

The timing was too perfect, the fallout fundamentally altered the industry. It was a plant job to stop the rules from changing. HUSH was a 1st step, the brace rules had made SBR/SBS palatable as the next step. Bump fire sticks were popular enough to make it possible to get selective fire and full auto imports in after that.

I still remember the 3 days of coverage the softball shooting recieved. A politically motivated motherfricker tried to murder a large portion of Republican congressmen.. he actually succeeded in nearly killing one of them. And it was a nonstory after 3 days.

It's a nonstory any time perceived trump supporters or Republicans are the victims.

A woman is scared into having a heart attack in Charlottesville...and goddamn, Charlottesville is deemed to be as bad as 9/11 and United Nations is issuing statements condemning how horrible nondemocrats are. MSNBC was talking about Charlottesville this morning.

You ever been to Vegas? A high end hotel there? No way in hell did that guy carry a complete arsenal with multiple duffel bags of rifles/machine guns to his room without a camera picking him up.

There’s plenty of video of Paddack wheeling luggage up to his room. I still don’t buy the official narrative around this shooting though.

While I get that people generally ignore others while in Vegas, you cannot move an inch without being filmed all over that town.

What do you expect to be filmed that wasn’t filmed?

Also, employees are watching all the time

What were they supposed to do? Ask him what was in the duffel bags? They have no authority to look in his luggage and would probably be fired for trying to.

Should they have called the cops? “Hey we have a guy here who has two duffel bags that look heavy”

what would the cops do with that information?

Maybe paddock was friendly and nice and no one suspected anything because millions of people from all over the world are coming to Vegas for all different types of reasons

People are constantly going to Vegas for trade shows and exhibitions and routinely have a lot of luggage and supplies to bring to set up displays and booths.

It’s not out of the ordinary for someone to have large luggage.

The problem is y’all just don’t want to accept how easy it is for someone to do something like this. There was nothing that could have stopped it unfortunately.

You forgot the parenthesize "Stephen Paddock" and replace it with "cut-out."

And yes, for an all-time worst shooting- slaughter in US history, its memory AND lack of any actual investigation went down Memory Hole ASAP.

By far the biggest lie, scandal ever sanctioned by the psychopathic PTB Insiders in broad daylight. Op / Satanic sacrifice.

GREAT example.

That 867 people were injured and 61 people were dead -- the target mostly country music/presumed "conservative" folks gunned down in a turkey shoot in at an open Vegas concert venue -- is shoved under the rug??

MSM: "Meh." Goobermint investigators: "Meh. "Nothing to see. ONE guy with the fire-power of a platoon."

To your point; How THIS single event *should* still be buried -- but Charlottesville remains an OMG!! incident just proves how utterly FOS both the MSM and "LE" and "Justice" have been since 2009.

UK, exactly what do you want?

The FBI conducted a year-long investigation and found that the guy was intensely-private and left absolutely no evidence of his motivation.

What more is there to discuss?

it's sad none of you have a clue what the shooting was about. here's a hint. it had nothing to do with any of the victims.

The main conspiracy you guys are looking for here is money.

Who has all of the liability here? MGM. Think they settled for 800+ million eventually. They knew a large lawsuit was incoming. They have all the video footage and likely large influence over the investigation and media.

Vegas, as a city, best interest was to get it out of the news cycle to not scare off future tourism.

Just goes to show you, what powerful organizations can and do suppress.
